The SFTY4 bridge humbucker is a tight and aggressive humbucker offering precise palm muting, punchy midrange, and an open and extended top end. The SFTY4 has it’s own self generated harmonic content that gives a crisp edge to the attack that increases the aggressiveness of the rhythm tone, while keeping lead tones intact and contributing to a surprisingly beautiful clean tone. Lively dynamics, and great feel- which is the most important thing anyway. This set features a Decomp neck pickup that is calibrated to match the output of the SFTY4 bridge. The Decomp neck is a vintage voiced humbucker that features a traditional Fillister/Slug pole arrangement. It’s voice is influenced by vintage PAF and Single coil tones, without the overly booming bass response. Superior cleans, and Flutey shred tones. This set covers a lot of tonal range.
