The Decomp series is a low output humbucker set with tight, resonant lows, aggressive upper midrange, and pleasantly smooth presence.  This is a fast tracking set with delicious inter-note clarity.  It is not compressed.  It is not high-output.  sounds best in mahogany and Ash and any acoustically loud or interesting sounding guitar that you would like to retain the natural tone of.  Not recommended for basswood guitars or acoustically dead guitars as the extended top end will sound thin if there are no overtones to the instrument..

Sfty3 series

SFTY3

The SFTY3 is a Medium-high output set. Tight bass response, forward midrange, and a balance between open top end for chord clarity and focus for single note riffing. Medium-High output allows for surprisingly beautiful cleans for such an aggressive set. Best in Mahogany or Ash.

Sfty4 series

SFTY4

The SFTY4 is like the opposite of the Decomp. This pickup seeks to rescue guitars that, for whatever reason, sound dead, lack sustain, lack interesting overtones, or just lacks aggression. Or let’s just say you want to record brutal rhythm tracks with a fully floating bridge. This pickup will bring the fire power! Aggressive, tight, and punchy with full harmonics. While hotter than the SFTY3, the SFTY4 is still a medium -High output pickup set and retains surprisingly beautiful cleans, combos, and split tones. Great in all wood types.
