The SFTY4 bridge humbucker is a tight and aggressive humbucker offering precise palm muting, punchy midrange, and an open and extended top end. The SFTY4 has it’s own self generated harmonic content that gives a crisp edge to the attack that increases the aggressiveness of the rhythm tone, while keeping lead tones intact and contributing to a surprisingly beautiful clean tone. Lively dynamics, and great feel- which is the most important thing anyway. This set features a SFTY4-6 Neck pickup has killer sustain and enhanced between-the-note articulation that makes alternate picking runs pop. The SFTY4-6 neck has some of the vintage voiced technology of the Decomp that makes for a killer clean tone, but with increased midrange and compression for legato playing.
